Stake size and Kelly calculator
Staking matters as much as picking. The Kelly formula gives the stake that grows a bankroll fastest if your probability is right. Most people use a fraction of it, because estimates are never exact.
How to use it
We measure stakes in units. 1 unit = 1% of the bankroll. The Kelly fraction = (p x odds - 1) / (odds - 1), where p is your probability.
Full Kelly swings a lot. Quarter Kelly keeps most of the growth with far smaller swings. If the result is zero or negative, the price has no edge and the right stake is zero.
